Developer program code of conduct

If you are going to use the developer interfaces to build an application that interfaces with our system, its very important that you comply with the following common-sense rules:

Zeald provides the developer program as a convenience for our clients. Usually when you use our developer program to develop an application, you are charging clients for your work and we are not - ultimately this means it is you who is responsible (for all bugs, issues, support & complaints related to your app).
We provide a limited level of free email-only support within defined parameters. However we are more than happy to provide more in-depth support and consulting on a paid basis. Read the developer support page for more details.
Use the system sensibly - please don't spam our servers with large amounts of requests. Don't adversely impact the clients data, send spam, or any other violations of our acceptable use policy or terms of trade (http://www.zeald.com/tot). If your app causes unnecessary load it can significantly impact loading times on the client's website.
We reserve the right to disconnect your api access at any time without notice. We might do this for load-management reasons, the system might go down, or we might do it for violation of these rules. You should design your application to be robust against short-term outages and errors.
Remember that its you who are responsible for your application. If your application does not work, you are the primary point of contact. If our API's do not work as intended then please inform developer support.
If our APIs don't meet your specific needs, we will happily provide you with a quote to customise the software to provide the required functionality.
It is a violation of our terms of use to use our APIs for purely competitive purposes. If in doubt ask us. If you want to use it to download all the data in a website for the purpose of building a new one, there are easier ways to achieve this - just get in touch & we can help you out.
